Culture & Cocktails

Party goers at The San Diego Museum of Art’s Culture & Cocktails event got a sneak preview of works from all five of the Spanish masters represented on the museum building’s façade: Diego Veláquez, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, Francisco de Zurbarán, Jusepe de Ribera and El Greco. The event, themed Angels and Saints after the Museum’s exhibition Art & Empire: The Golden Age of Spain, included performances by Sacra/Profana, tastes of Spain in food and a signature cocktail, a photo booth and a station where guests could make their own sacred halos to wear.
