The Charity Ball, a vital part of Rady Children’s Hospital since its establishment in 1954, was presented with the Thomas F. Carter Leadership award during Glitter in the Air, its 110th gala. The black-tie ball was held at the historic Hotel Del Coronado in support of the Copley Psychiatric Emergency Department—one of the first departments of its kind—and affiliated programs.
