Mother’s Day brunch (and more!) at Vistal

Downtown’s new waterfront restaurant Vistal promises a Mother’s Day with a decadent brunch, a view, a free bloom bar where little ones can make a floral gift for Mom, and a jewelry station where Mom can customize some Kendra Scott bling for herself.

The restaurant, on the third floor of InterContinental San Diego, opened last fall and features an award-winning, fresh, imaginative blend of Baja and Mediterranean cuisine from chef Amy DiBiase.

The brunch

This Sunday, Vistal celebrates Mom with a brunch buffet, made-to-order entrees and bottomless mimosas. Find an array of chilled seafood, cheese, charcuterie, salads, pastries and desserts, and choose from indulgent a la carte items like stone-crab eggs benedict and lobster rolls. There’s also a kids’ menu!

Fun for the whole family (but especially mom)

If glamorous views of the bay, the USS Midway and Lindbergh Field’s airplanes soaring off into the sky aren’t enough to hold your attention, there’s plenty more to enjoy. Vistal’s Mother’s Day brunch features live music, as well as some perfect-for-mom gift stations to pamper her (and occupy the kids).

Fresh blooms abound at the complimentary bouquet bar, where little ones can craft a small floral arrangement to take home.

And Mom can find her shine and evoke her inner artiste at the Kendra Scott Color Bar, by customizing a necklace, earrings or bracelet with stones of her choice.
