If you read Mark Hiss’ Design Destination piece in October’s issue, or even if you didn’t (but, trust us, you don’t want to miss it, so here it is), you probably have a hankering for a trip to the Palm Springs desert town right now. There’s plenty to enjoy this month. Here’s a sampling:

Oct. 18-21, Modernism Week Fall Preview: Modernism Week in February is a long time away but you don’t have to wait. This year you can enjoy four full days of the preview design festival.
