Bon Vivant has a well-curated collection of home decor and accessories including vintage glassware, ceramics and jewelry; if you’re in the market for furniture, check out A La MOD and Modernway, where you’ll find home furnishings, from barstools to sectionals, sculptures to hi-fis.

Fauvism meets the Jetsons at the Shag Store where artist Josh Agle, better known as Shag, sells his paintings, prints and merchandise, including everything from socks to highball glasses. His retro-cool work is inspired by Mad Men-era commercial illustrations, with plenty of pop and tiki culture references.

Stroll through downtown Palm Springs every Thursday night for VillageFest, a street fair that’s part shopping bazaar, part farmers market, where some 200 vendors offer arts and crafts, collectibles and locally produced edibles, while an eclectic array of performers entertain.
