Scripps’ 46th annual Mercy Ball raised a record $700,000 to benefit trauma care at both campuses: the purchase of cutting-edge technology for head and spine trauma surgery in Hillcrest and the remodel fund for Chula Vista’s Triage Center. Nearly 500 guests attended the event, held at the Pendry Hotel.
