Cut It Out

An entrance is an opportunity to impress. Instead of standard, solid steps, these cantilevered concrete platforms accessorized with greenery create a more elegant look. While the undercut steps appear to float, the planters bring them back to earth. To pour these steps, a rectangular form was inset to create a void for succulents and river rock. Even the concrete score lines were thoughtfully designed.
