Maximize a Small Bathroom

More often than not, older homes and small bathrooms are synonymous. Through creative redesigning, however, you can achieve a dramatically different space. The above photo shows examples of the following. 

Mount a large medicine cabinet for storage.

Run the tub deck into the shower to function as seating.

Install recessed hardware under the vanity for hanging towels.

Use full-height tile on all walls to reflect light and make walls appear taller.

Install frameless shower glass and a curbless shower floor to lend the appearance of space.
