La Jolla Music Society’s WinterFest Gala featured a one-night-only performance of Beauty and the Beast by Malandain Ballet Biarritz. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and dinner at The Westgate Hotel prior to the U.S. premiere at the Civic Theater.
Scripps Mercy Hospital raised more than $465,000 for cancer care at its 45th Annual Mercy Ball. Held at San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, the event drew a crowd of 500 supporters. Dinner, a live auction, live musical entertainment, and testimonials from cancer survivors and a caregiver marked the evening.
